We understand that selling the car of a relative or a friend who has passed away can be stressful and upsetting. We aim to provide a hassle-free service during this difficult time. Just follow these five simple steps:
Enter the vehicle details into our website to receive an instant online valuation, and, if you're happy with the valuation quoted, you can click the 'accept valuation' button.
After you have accepted the online valuation a member of our customer services team will contact you to arrange an appointment. We offer appointments 7 days a week to ensure a time that is convenient for you.
One of our friendly and knowledgeable vehicle purchasers will arrive at your home or workplace to inspect the vehicle and take it for a short test drive.
You will be offered a final price for the vehicle based on the condition assessed during the inspection. You're under no obligation to sell the car to us, however if you are happy with the offer, you will receive instant payment before our vehicle purchaser leaves.
Our vehicle purchaser will take away all the vehicle documents and the keys and then our transportation team aims to collect the vehicle within 5 working days. Please note that you do not need to be present for vehicle collection.
Should you need any further guidance on how to sell a deceased person's vehicle please contact us, or visit the Government wills, probate and inheritance page for more information.
