Mini is celebrating turning 60 in August this year, ahead of this milestone, BMW has decided to release a limited-edition model aptly named the Mini 60 Years Edition. To reinforce the brand’s rich British heritage, this version of the car will only be sold in Britain and will cost you more than a third more than their standard Cooper S at £29,990.
The limited edition Mini Cooper S sports bespoke bonnet stripes – the left stripe adorned with Mini’s 60 Years logo. This logo is also projected from the driver’s door mirror onto the ground below when the car is unlocked.
What else can you get? Mini’s ’60 Years Chili’ package adds:
- LED headlights and fog lamps
- White turn indicators
- LED rear ‘Union Jack’ lamps
- The inside ‘Mini Excitement Package’ includes ambient lighting
Expect to ride in luxury, too, with their sports chairs draped in an exclusive ‘Mini Yours Leather Lounge 60 Years trim’ in Dark Cacao colour – complete with unique green piping.
