Why the new Vauxhall Corsa is here to make an impression

The Vauxhall Corsa has always been a firm favourite among hatchback lovers, so the radical new design which incorporates changes both inside and out is a bold move from Vauxhall – but one that just may pay off. With 3 and 5-door variants available, the choice for the customer doesn’t stop there…

Unique Customization Available

The new Vauxhall Corsa allows the customer to pick the colour, wheels and interior design of their car to achieve a completely unique feel. The colours available range from an array of different greens and blues, to the more standard greys, blacks and silvers, as well as vibrant red and yellow options. Wheels available on the Vauxhall Corsa include sizes from 15” to 17”, wheel covers, and alloy wheels with a variety of different spoke designs. For those who also like to have a hand in the look of their interior, there are seven different upholstery designs to choose from. However, not all combinations are available.

Handy Tech

The new Vauxhall Corsa also includes a variety of innovations, designed not only to make your driving experience safer but more practical and enjoyable while on the roads. The Driver Assistance features include the side blind spot alert and lane departure warning, intended to create a much safer driving experience by alerting the driver to any potential hazards around them. Heat technology includes The ThermaTec windscreen which will gently melt away any ice left on your windscreen – making those chilly mornings much more comfortable – as well as heated seats and steering wheel for extra comfort in the colder months. The City Mode feature changes the steering settings to make driving much easier while also saving fuel, while the Easy Parking does exactly what it says on the tin. Connectivity features in the new Vauxhall Corsa also contribute to a much easier drive. With Intellilink technology that can be synchronised with both iOS and Android, hands free phone operation can assist you in a number of different ways. Navigation help is just one of the many uses for Intellink, allowing the user to get directions as well as those all-important traffic updates for the school run or on the way home. Just in case you do get stuck though, there’s a radio, CD player and Bluetooth audio streaming to keep you occupied. A range of other Apps are also available to download through Intellilink.

Design

Both the Corsa’s interior and exterior have undergone vast new changes, set to distinguish the car from earlier models. With Bi-Xenon headlights, an expansive sunroof, a sporting grille and new sculptured contours, the brand new Vauxhall Corsa is an impressive new take on the small hatchback. Stepping inside the car is no more familiar either, with ambient LED lighting, climatisation settings to keep you at the perfect temperature all year round, and deep contoured, supportive seats for extra comfort.

Specs

Ranging from 70hp to 115hp dependent on model, the choice is yours when it comes to power. You can also decide whether a three cylinder 1.0 turbo engine or a 1.3 CDTI is best for you. The Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback starts at £8,995 for the 3-door and £9,595 for the 5-door.

Having redefined itself as more than just a basic hatchback with a bold new design inside and out, the Vauxhall Corsa now offers more than any of its predecessors ever did. Technology intended to assist in precision, safety and enjoyment will mean that driving a new Vauxhall Corsa will bring you an entirely new driving experience.
