We offer the quickest, simplest way to sell your car for cash. It’s a really easy three-step process – just enter your registration number in the box above to get started.
You’ll get a fast, fair, no-obligation valuation for your vehicle, then we’ll get in touch to tell you what to do next. The whole process can often be completed in as little as a day, and you’ll usually get your money within four working days.
But in case you’re not sure how to sell a car online, and you want to know how the process works in-depth, we’ve got the answers for you:
What happens once I’ve got my valuation?
You can book an appointment at your nearest branch. It’s easy to do this online – just select a time slot that suits you and drive on down. Depending on availability, we may be able to inspect your car on the same day. Use our branch finder to locate your nearest branch.
Another company is offering a better deal for my car, will you match it?
Yes! We’ll match any competitor’s quote, once they’ve inspected your vehicle themselves.
I’m thinking about selling my car online, but it’s failed its MOT – can I still sell it?
Yes! We’ll buy any car that runs. This includes MOT failures, damaged cars, and cars without road tax. The only exceptions are scrap cars (non-runners), and classic cars.
Sell my car for cash
Will you buy my 4x4 or van?
No problem! Whether you want to sell a used Ford Transit or a 4x4 Land Rover, we’ll take it off your hands for a quick cash payment. Unfortunately, we can’t currently buy larger vehicles like lorries and HGVs.
I don’t agree with your valuation, do I still have to sell my car?
No. If you’d prefer to shop around, you’re under no obligation to sell your car to us. But remember – we’ll match any competitor’s offer, once they’ve inspected your vehicle.
I want to sell my car quick, can you guarantee a time slot for my appointment?
When you’ve agreed to our valuation, you’ll be able to pick a time slot at your local We Want Any Car branch. If the slot you want isn’t free, you could always try another branch close to you? We have more than 70 branches nationwide where you can sell a car!
What documents do I need to bring?
We’ll need documents like your VC5 registration document, service history and MOT certificate. We’ll give you full details of the documents you’ll need to bring after you’ve requested a car valuation.
Will I get the price I’m quoted?
We’re committed to offering fair and up-to-date prices for the cars we buy. As long as you give us an accurate description of your car, we can offer the same price we quote online – but our final quote is dependent on a visual inspection of your car. We always offer the best price we possibly can when we buy your car.
